Organic Fossil Shell Flour Powder – Food Grade Diatomaceous Earth
Discover the fascinating natural origins of fossil shell flour in a convenient, finely powdered format.
Nutra Nourished Fossil Shell Flour Powder is made using food-grade diatomaceous earth, a naturally occurring material formed from the fossilised remains of microscopic organisms called diatoms.
Our fossil shell flour comes from a freshwater deposit associated with Aulacoseira, a genus of freshwater diatoms recognised for their distinctive silica-based structures.
Over time, the remains of these microscopic organisms can accumulate in sediment, forming deposits of diatomaceous earth.
The resulting material is prepared as a fine powder with a characteristic pale appearance and naturally occurring silica as part of its composition.
Unlike pre-measured capsules, our loose powder format allows you to measure the ingredient directly. It is a practical option for customers who prefer a powder rather than capsules or tablets.
Each pack contains 250 g of food-grade fossil shell flour, providing a convenient quantity in a compact, easy-to-store format.
Prepared and packaged on the Gold Coast, Australia.

How to Mix Fossil Shell Flour Powder
With Water
Measure the directed quantity of fossil shell flour powder and add it to a glass of water.
Stir thoroughly to distribute the powder throughout the liquid. Because diatomaceous earth does not dissolve like sugar, some settling may occur. Stir again before drinking.
With Juice
Add the measured powder to a glass of juice and stir until evenly dispersed.
With Smoothies
Add the measured quantity to a smoothie and blend thoroughly to distribute the powder throughout the mixture.
Tips for Mixing
For easier preparation, add a small amount of liquid to the powder first and stir gently. Gradually add the remaining liquid while mixing.
The powder may remain suspended rather than fully dissolve, so some sediment can be expected.
Measure carefully using a suitable measuring spoon or kitchen scale, and follow the confirmed product directions.
