Equipmed ComfortCruise Heavy Duty Mobility Scooter
Enjoy greater freedom, comfort and confidence with the Equipmed ComfortCruise Heavy Duty Mobility Scooter. Designed for everyday outdoor travel, this supportive and capable mobility scooter helps make trips to the shops, appointments, parks and local neighbourhoods easier to manage. With a high weight capacity, long travel range and smooth ride comfort, it gives users and carers added reassurance for daily mobility.
The ComfortCruise is powered by a strong motor system with up to 1000W peak output, offering smooth acceleration and dependable performance across a variety of everyday surfaces. With a maximum forward speed of up to 15km per hour and the ability to handle driving gradients up to 12 degrees, it is well suited to footpaths, large residential areas, retirement villages and community outings where reliable power matters.
Built for longer journeys, the heavy-duty lead-acid battery system provides a driving range of up to 35 to 45km per charge, helping reduce the worry of frequent recharging during daily use. The easy-to-read battery level meter keeps charge status visible, while the DC24V 6A charger supports simple overnight charging with an approximate 12-hour charge time.
Comfort is central to the ComfortCruise design. The padded high back seat provides generous support, while the 360-degree swivel function makes getting on and off easier. Adjustable seat height and flip-up armrests help users find a more comfortable position and can make transfers less physically demanding for both the user and carer.
For a smoother and more stable ride, the ComfortCruise features suspension, pneumatic tyres and anti-tip wheels. These features help absorb bumps and uneven surfaces, creating a more controlled and comfortable experience during longer outings. The heavy-duty frame supports users up to 180kg, making it a reassuring choice for those who need a stronger, more supportive scooter.
Safety and visibility are thoughtfully included for everyday confidence. Electromagnetic braking provides controlled stopping, while front and rear LED lights, reflectors, brake lights, turn signals and rear view mirrors help improve visibility and awareness when travelling outdoors or through busy shared spaces.
Practical details make daily use more convenient. A front basket, rear basket, seat pocket and cup holder offer useful storage for shopping, personal items and drinks. The USB port can charge a phone on the go and can also connect to the built-in speaker system, while Bluetooth connectivity allows users to enjoy music, podcasts or audiobooks while travelling.
The ComfortCruise arrives with no assembly required, making setup simple from the moment it reaches your home. With its combination of comfort, strength, storage, safety features and everyday convenience, it is a dependable mobility solution for users who want to stay connected, independent and active.
